Will my home get ready on time? What happens to my payment schedule? Is real estate still a good investment? The lockdown has given home buyers new worries. At VJ, we have been interacting with all our home buyers to address their worries.

Recently, we hosted a Webinar for the homeowners of Yashwin Encore, our project at Wakad. The initial conversation veered around the current scenario of real estate. Aditya Javdekar, CEO, apprised them about the supply chain management and workforce scenario in real estate, in view of the lockdown. The lowering home loan rates in upcoming times, was also discussed.

He then told them about the steps taken by VJ to ensure earliest possible initiation of construction work, post the lockdown. From having an in-house technical team that makes VJ self-reliant in construction to ensuring continuous contact with our vendors and suppliers, he informed them about VJ's readiness.

Aditya Javdekar told the homeowners about how VJ has kept all its project sites closed as per government guidelines. He informed them about how team VJ is taking care of 1600 site labourers by offering them 3 meals a day since the lockdown began and educating them about health and sanitisation.

He addressed project specific issues too. He assured everyone that project timelines will be followed as promised. While buildings A1 & A2 (finishing has started) will be ready by December 2021, B1 & B2 (19th slab) will be completed by June 2022. Updates about access road, retail spaces at main road and opening of online registrations with Sub-registrar were given as well.

With all residential units at Yashwin Encore being already sold, the homeowners were reassured about the project's financial well-being. Clarifications about the MHADA building outside the premises, continued contact with bankers and the quality standards being maintained at the project were discussed too.

The relaxed and smiling faces of the Yashwin Encore homeowners made the entire interaction a truly satisfying one.
